FAREWELL

We are saddened to announce that after four remarkable seasons of inspiring young musicians and building community through music, Harmony Lounge & Music Club will conclude its operations. While there will not be a 2026–2027 season, we are immensely proud of what Harmony accomplished and the lives it touched.

Launched in September 2022, Harmony was created to remove barriers to music education by offering free opportunities for young people to learn, create, and perform. What began as a small after-school music program grew into a vibrant creative community featuring songwriting, Rock Skool, band coaching, live performances, a youth recording studio, and the release of two collaborative albums of original music. Harmony welcomed more than 100 young people, many of whom returned year after year as they grew from first-time musicians into confident performers, songwriters, recording artists, and mentors. 

While this marks the conclusion of Harmony, it also gives us an opportunity to celebrate everything these young people accomplished and to thank everyone who made it possible. Harmony was never just about music. It was about creating a place where young people felt like they really belonged. Watching students return year after year, discover their confidence, write original songs, mentor one another, and grow into remarkable young adults has been the privilege of a lifetime.

Those friendships, experiences, and memories will continue long after the final season. I am grateful to the many instructors, volunteers, donors, granting organizations, community partners, parents, families, and students whose enthusiasm, generosity, and encouragement made Harmony possible.
